he is about 40 lbs overweight and 56 years old. He will be feeling fine and start pouring sweat the next minute without any

Sounds to me like a heart problem. Have him checked out by a doctor.

Reply:Diaphoretic is the key term here. He could be suffering from adverse reactions to medication or he could have a problem with his heart. Internal bleeding. etc. Get him to a doc and have it checked out. Does he drink alcohol regularly?
