Why is sweating ok when you have a fever?
sweating cools the body under normal circumstances
Why is sweating ok when you have a fever?
rise in temprature is a normal phenomenon as a reaction to infection by our bodies n to cool down rise in temprature we sweat
Reply:it means you are getting better. if you dont sweat, you still have the fever, but if you sweat, your body is trying to bring your warmer temperature back to normal, hence sweating.
Reply:When the sweat evaporates it cools the body..we are learning about this in my science class this week
Reply:sweating is the bodies natural way to cool itself whether you have a fever or not. Its very important especially when you have a high fever to bring it down as quickly as possible.
in some cases ice baths are required if the fever is to high.
Reply:sweating when you have a fever is ok because your bodies natural cooling mechanism is to sweat. your body turns its natural thermostat up to try and kill the bacteria that are attacking it, this is why you have a fever. and the natural response is you sweat as your brain centers recognise that you are hot and it tries to cool you. I know this sounds as though the body is working against itself but it is how it works due to the fact that the part of the brain that causes the fever and the part that makes you sweat are two diffrent area's in the brain.
Reply:You sweat the fever out of you. It makes you get better faster.
Reply:Sweating is your body's way of keeping a constant temperature. When you're hot, whether from exercise, temperature outside or a fever, the pores in your skin open and let out water. When the water evaporates, it cools your skin and hopefully reduces your internal temperature.
Shivering is the way your body reacts to cold, by shivering your muscles are twitching which is a form of exercise and thus a way to produce heat.
Reply:I think it releases all of the fever junk out of your body!
Reply:its a way for the body to get rid of all the toxins in your body that are making you sick in the first place
Reply:it is the indication of your body temperature becomes normal.
Reply:to keep your body temperature as much down as possible thru evapourisation of sweat/moisture from skin/body surface..howerer if one sweats too much ,one have to take adequate water or liquids to keep kidney function seaving waste materials from blood properly...
Reply:It's trying to cool your body down and return it to its normal temperature.
Reply:Sweating allows your body to release toxins, so when you are sick sweating allows you to release the excess toxins in your system that you have from being sick. It is also why people use saunas to sweat...not only to lose water weight but also release the normal toxins are bodies have.
Reply:The fever shows that the body's internal immune system is trying to deal with some external attack. When the body sweats, the fever starts reducing and the body becomes cooler. That means that the body has internally solved the problem by dealing with the attack either permanently or temporarily. If it is temporary, the fever may relapse after sometime to deal with the attack. Better to be under medical supervision if the fever comes and goes several times a day.
Reply:it is essintial for thermoregulation provide normal tempreture and protect the vital organ from hyperthermia. so sweting is good in condition of fever
