Shortness of breath, sweating, anxiouses, shakiness, what should I do?

I have all of these symptoms even after my Dr. upped my Zoloft from 50mg to 100mg. It has been 3 weeks and somedays I cant even get out of bed. Not that I dont want to , it is that everytime i do I start having symptoms.

I have 3 kids to take care of . how can I fix this?

Are you seeing a therapist to augment your medication? A good mental therapist will help to relieve your physical symptoms.

The effectiveness of your medication is something you definitely need to tell your doctor about. It may be time to try a different medication.

Maybe if you started eating fruits and vegatables instead of drugs, you would feel better..
Reply:Emergency visit?? Symptoms are consistent w/heart problems.
Reply:Tell your doctor to adjust or change your medication.

I have been there...I know what you are going through. I used to take medication that made me photo sensitive so I always got sunburned; it also made me gain weight. I tried to go off it, with some other prescription, and it was like being a juggler in the circus. It is not easy finding the right script and the right dosage.

Tell your doctor what you're going through.
Reply:You may need a different medication, such as Effexor.
Reply:Learn how to meditate and maybe find someone to take care of the kids for maybe 1 or 2 hours in the week, to allow you some me time.

That will help if its anxiety related. Stay away from caffeine and up your water.

I hope this helps.
Reply:get a 2nd or 3rd medical opinion. take a trip to the hospital if someone can watch the 3 kids long enough for you to go.
Reply:zoloft may not work for you,It never did for me,I use to have severe panic attacks and I dont know why,but I started taking paxil cr and I have not had a panic attack in 5 years.Talk to your dr,tell him you want to try something different .
Reply:Now how were you on the 50mg?? You need to speak to the doctor who upped the Zoloft and see what they think. This all sounds like anxiety to me. Good luck to you.
Reply:I do hope that you had a complete physical workup before beginning the Zoloft. There are a number of medical conditions that can cause all of the above symptoms from diabetes to epilepsy. If the increase in the dosage is not effective after two weeks, you and your psychiatrist should revisit the initial diagnosis.

Both depression and anxiety are sometimes eased with regular exercise and good nutrition as well as medication. Playing outside with your kids might help. Don't take on anything that makes your life more difficult or complicated.
Reply:those symptoms sound like low blood glucose...if you have a monitor to check your blood, you should...if you don't, get your dr to check it for you...when you start getting shaky and anxious, try eating candy...any kind and see if it goes away after about 15 minutes...if it does, it's a glucose problem for sure...sweating is my 1st sign of low glucose...candy or glucose tabs take care of it for me...it might be something else, but i'm guessing you are hypoglycemic meaning low blood sugars...
Reply:Call an ambulance!
Reply:talk to ur doc again or get a new one
