I couldnt help notice the batsmans wer sweating into there hemet and evry now and then they had to empty them?

they literately poured out the water from there helmets





couldnt they make a more aerated helmet or just a steel wired open grill type helmet

they need the helmet so that if the ball comes to the head it hits the helmet and not the head. yes, they can make a more open helmet but maybe that has not been invented yet.

Helmets are for protection primarily so has to be steel and with all the running a batsman has to do sweating is so obvious well man some sweat for your country is worth
Reply:The batsmen need those helmets for protection. And anyways they have been playing for like 2-3 hours each and i really think its impossible to not sweat during that time.

Reply:Well, when a leather ball is hurled at you at around 150km/ph, you don't want to use a weaker, just normal grille just to stop sweating. It looks pretty weird, but it's for their protection.
