I have Excess Sweating on my hands and feet. Does anybody know the treatment for this.?

I have a friend who had problems with sweating. Her docor recommended Botox injuections, which apparently helped the problem.

Reply:i read somewhere that if u put stick deodorant on ur feet before u put on ur shoes its suppose to help. not sure about ur hands though, maybe lotion?
Reply:This is sometimes a symptom of autonomic nervous system dysfunction, caused by things such as diabetes. Suggest you consult a doctor.
Reply:These are symptoms of stress and/or anxiety. Try to relax and consult your physician.
Reply:This profuse amount of sweat is toxins being shed from the body. I would prefer a detoxification. Your local health food store may be able to assist you with that.

See a Dr. It had something to do with her glands and she had surgery. It did not solve her problem completely , but it sure helped.

Reply:well i don't know of any 'medicinal treatement' but i have the same problem when i get nervouse. Try baby powder in the socks and sprinkle some on your hands or in gloves during winter :)
Reply:Excessive sweating is called Hyperhidrosis. It is generally part of an underlying condition, such as Hyperthyroidism or other endocrine disorders. I would consult with a physician.

Reply:Hyperhydrosis is usually what that's called, only your doctor can diagnose that though. There is a prescription that treats that,and it's pretty cheap,it's called aluminum chloride,there are also other names for it..like hypercare or xerac....but aluminum chloride is the active ingredient.It comes in a bottle and is a roll on, it's prescribed a lot for wrestlers, high schoolers in sports and stuff, it keeps them from sweating so much.
