I sweat severely on my lower back, underarms. I can sweat profusely when i just sit at the computer table. This is very difficult in life positions, as I cant wear most clothes for work and school. I wash once a day, and use antiperspirant.
I don't want to see a doctor, or have any surgery done. I would rather two options.
1 - Any things I can do to stop it, wives tales sort of things. With step-by-step would help.
2 - I'm Australian, and if you have any really really good antiperspirant names I can purchase without prescription, it would be appreciated.
Thanks. =]

Severe Sweating.?
I know you know this, but it is a problem that can really be fixed only with surgery.
The rest is just a cover up, and it might not help at all.
It will just make you waste energy, time and money.
Reply:I'm sorry but the only thing that I know is Botox, with this you don't even sweat or have any odor for up to 7 months
Reply:The only way I have heard of is a kind of shock therapy, which I've heard doesn't hurt. It'll get rid of it permanently, while what you're doing is just temporary and -I bet- pretty annoying? I've never heard of having surgery.
Reply:I hear that tea (black tea) helps with excessive sweating (but does not cure it). Try brewing some and soaking a towel that you'll apply on your underarms and lower back (drinking it will do nothing). The tannin is the constricting agent that will help reduce sweating, so the stronger the tea, the better!
I also found this: http://www.klimadeodorant.com/ I personally have never used it, but I read a comment on here http://www.ehow.com/how_2085548_treat-ov... that led to it.
I'm not sure how much help I've been... good luck! If you really can't live with it... a doctor you will have to see -- surgery did wonders for a friend of mine!
Reply:I actually looked up "removing sweat stains in laundry" recently and received all kinds of antiperspirant info-
Over the counter-"certain-dry" is supposed to work good-found at most stores;Walmart, etc.-and I found this on ebay:
SweatBlock: Eliminate Underarm Perspiration for 7 Days
(2 Month Supply In Every Box)
$8.00
$2.75
I hope this helps!
But hey, don't sweat it! he,he.
Take care
Reply:Getting Botox injections in the areas that you sweat excessively is supposed to work amazingly (I want this done, but do not have the money at the moment). Cons: It's expensive, and needs to be re-done about every 6 months or so.
There are clinical strength deodorants for guys, just like there are for girls.
I live in the United States, but I'm assuming they have these brands there too, if not, just order online.
I know of Degree off the top of my head, but I think Gillette or some brand like that has it as well? Maybe someone can clear that up for me. But I know for sure Degree has it.
There's one called Certian Dri, but I HATE it. It's way too harsh. It actually burns.
The newer clincal strength deodorants (Degree, Secret, etc.) are very mild, and still work great.
This is actually a lot more common than you probably think.
It's called Hyperhydrosis.
Reply:Sometimes can be from blood pressure?
Has it only begun with the heat and humidity?
Try going a few days drinking much more water - don't wait until you are thirsty, just whenever you pass a tap/bottle or even think of it. Always have plenty of fibre, fruits and stay away from chocolate and cheese!
Not fun days, but you might find a difference. It wont be immediate if your sweating is related to a health condition. Sometimes sweating can be your body's own way of trying to get rid of "bad stuff".
It made a difference for me.
