Does sweating clear up acne?

No, it does make it worse by clogging your pores. However, by exercising and sweating, you are increasing your blood circulation throughout your body to improve getting rid of toxins and increasing oxygen to your skin cells. This can help clear up acne, but after a workout or sweating, you need to be sure you wash your face/body with mild soap and water. The cooler your body temp stays, the better your complexion.

Reply:Sort of - it's not the sweating itself, so much as that when you get sweaty, you tend to shower or wash your face more often. Sweating is really good for removing toxins from your body, which will also help clear up your skin.
Reply:NOt it can clog your pores. IF you are looking for a way to flush out your body. Drink alot of water and take VItamin A.
Reply:If you sweat in a sauna for example and then wash yourself with cold water what happens is that your pours open and the dirt leaves your skin. The cold water closes the pours again. But I don't think this gets rid of acne. Acne is a bacteria and so washing your skin with soap and also salt water helps. Applying acne cream works best.
