Its not that sweating helps you lose weight..But while your sweating your losing calories and every 1500 calories is 1 pound of fat..
Does sweating help you loose weight?
I think any loss would be temporary. It would just be water weight.
Does sweating help you loose weight?
i think so but i do know it releases the water in your body
Reply:Yes, well, sweating is a good sign that you are working out hard, so keep it up. Eat healthy, exercise, and stay hydrated.
Reply:It doesnt help much, it does help you lose a little water weight.... Mostly it just means ur hot, and ur body is trying to cool down.
Reply:Yes, but it affects WATER weight. Total body weight is made of fat, skin, bone, muscle, water, and organs. So the numbers will go down, but sweat alone will not melt away fat. That is a myth. It is the excercise (which makes you sweat!) that burns calories and, as a result, burns fat. You will lose weight doing sweaty excercises like running, but you will not lose weight sitting around in a sauna.
Reply:yes and no.
yes you loose weight, but it is all water weight, meaning that once you rehydrate your body you will gain the weight back. But if you are doing a physical activity that is making you sweat, then you should be burning calories, therefore if your calorie intake stays the same you should loose weight.
Hope that helps.
