Does sweating make you lose any weight?

Sweating does not make you lose weight. It is physical activity that makes you lose weight. Sweating is a byproduct.
Does sweating make you lose any weight?
water weight
Does sweating make you lose any weight?
Yes, but mostly water weight. Unless you are sweating because you are exercising....in that case you will lost weight and fairly consistently. If you are just talking about sweating because you are hot, you will only lose ounces not pounds.
Reply:Of course. Weigh yourself, then do some heavy exercise during which you sweat a lot, then weigh yourself again. You will be lighter, often by 2 or 3 pounds, but you will also be dehydrated, which is bad. If you get dehydrated, your digestion doesn't work so well, you get headaches, your breath smells bad, among other things.

Don't try to loose weight by sweating -- it is dangerous. Wrestlers, boxers and jockeys do this and some have died from dehydration.
Reply:Yes, only water weight because sweat is a liquid. But I don't think it would have a very big impact on your weight it's to little of an amount. That would be a lot of sweat.
Reply:yeah, water weight...............as soon as you stop sweating and start drinking water you will gain it all right back.
Reply:No, it clears your body.
Reply:yes but it will all be gained back with your first sip of water, so dont use it as a means but as a gauge. and dont listen to those tards who say you MUST DRINK 8 or whatever glasses of water a day. that is bull, you need as much water as you need, it is different everyday, it depends on your activity level. sitting around in an a/c building guzzling water all day because some scientist nerd told you to do that is WHAT IS MAKING YOU FAT, you retain alot of that water. Walking through the desert with only 8 glasses of water you would end up dead.

Im not saying dont drink water, im saying drink when you are thirsty, not when some scientist tells you to. If your pee is completely clear everytime you pee, you are DRINKING WAY TOO MUCH WATER%26gt; also watch your salt intake and the water you lose from sweat will not be as easily absorbed if you have less salt in your blood.
