Does sweating really make you loose wait??

yes but only until your body replaces the lost water
Does sweating really make you loose wait??
yes
Does sweating really make you loose wait??
by sweating u're burning calories which ends up as losing weight.
Reply:temporarily
Reply:It doesn't do it all by itself but it does help burn calories faster.
Reply:yes, but not a lot of wait. You have to sweat for a really long time before you even start to lose and it has to be continuous not just every now and then
Reply:you lose water weight. if you are sweating because you are wokring intensly at cardio or some other physical activity it is likely you are losing wieght, but if its just becasue you are hot then probably not, sweating when you ar ehot is your bodys way of colling itself off
Reply:weight? to me, sweating=excersize. and the sauna makes people sweat out any excess body fluid, but as soon as you drink some water, the weight is all back
Reply:yes
Reply:well it does make you loose fluids, so technically yes.
Reply:no...sweating can make you loose water weight which is temporary. Our body is made up of mostly water. The reason we sweat is so that our body can maintain its temperature of 98.6 -- when the sweat is realeased air blows over it creating a cooling effect and the reduction of heat in our body. ;)
Reply:some yes, but it's not healthy because you should drink more water to give back that sweat that you lose. sweating is meant to help cool you down not to lose weight. if you really do need to lose weight (ask your doctor if you do) then just eat right and excersize! don't overdo it, it will take a little while and lots of hard work but eat right with good portion sizes (not too big not to small, drink before eating and you'll feel fuller faster... brush your teeth when you have cravings or go to eat when you're not hungry) and excersize in moderation.
Reply:It does. Sweating can also cause you to dehydrate unless you take in a decent amount of water, so don't try to just sweat yourself skinny overnight.

Have you heard of the Richard Simmons tapes for weight loss (not wait) and body toning? They are called "Sweatin to the Oldies" and are great fun. You dance to achieve the sweat.
Reply:Okay. Not to be rude, but it would be "lose weight" and the answer really depends on how you define losing weight.

Sweat is fluid and fluid has weight, right? So in the short term - the answer is yes.

The same could be said of urinating though, in the short term you lose weight every time you urinate, right? Obviously you don't consider that you've genuinely lost weight just because you've eliminated some fluids from your body.

In the long run sweating (in and of itself) does nothing to help you to lose weight.
Reply:makes you lose water weight which you will quickly regain.
Reply:yes and no

people say you can sweat off the weight and make themselves hot while walking or something to get rid of water weight. But thats not healthy.

SO when you sweat you realease water from your body which does have weight but that doesnt mean you are necessarily loosing fat by sweating.

BUT if you are sweating BECAUSE you are excercising then that means that your excercising is burning energy(calories) which is making you loose weight.
