1) Reduce your sodium intake (do you drink a lot of soda?)

2) Get a "Thai Stone" you rub it on like an antiperspirant They work amazingly well to reduce your sweating.

I know lots of people who have had an excessive sweating problem, but it wasn't all over. Try some Certain Dry (or however you spell it.) for your underarms and talk to your doctor about the rest...
Reply:its might be hyperhidrosis. just type it into google and click on the first link
Reply:are you in 40s .could be in your change.men go throw it as women do to.
Reply:The most common cause for the symptoms that you describe is stress. It would be worth looking at your lifestyle to see if there has been a recent build up of work or worry.

It is usually the background level of stress, the day-to-day worries of modern living that can be debilitating to our health. Check simple things such as the level of house heating in the middle of the night or whether you are simply getting too hot. Are you having bad dreams or nightmares? These are a cause of night sweats and would point to an over-active mind and therefore possibly worry.

Away from the psychological causes of night sweats, there are several physical causes that your GP could rule out by simple blood tests and examination. Serious illnesses such as malaria or Hodgkin鈥檚 disease, which have sweating as a predominant symptom, are unlikely to be the cause of your problems due to your present good state of health but are amongst the illnesses that your GP would check for. He or she might also wish to arrange for a chest X-ray.

Sometimes, there is no apparent cause for the symptoms that you describe and they are then described as 'idiopathic' and will often settle of their own accord over a period of time but it is best to be certain so go and have a chat with your GP.
Reply:Im sorry but i dont know what your problem is, however i would recommend talking to a qualified doctor and/or nutritionist.

I have seen on tv people that have botox injected into sweat glands to reduce excessive sweating, although that would only really work if you sweated from isolated areas, ie armpits etc.
Reply:Answer the following questions,

Do you take illegal drugs?

Do you take too much alcohol?

Are you stressed?

If you answer YES to any of the above see your Dr for professional advice. Dr may advise a blood test for hormone imbalance, urea, electrolites etc.,
Reply:Get professional help, dont just go cold Turkey, the body needs time to adjust to the lack of sulphate, caustic soda, andrews liver salts or what ever you have been shooting up believeing it to be heroin.
Reply:my boyfriend is the same, you can go to your doctors and get re-fared to the hospital to get sweat glands taken out of your underarms,i think under your arms controls all of your body that's why they do it there.
Reply:visit your doctor as there may be a medical cause which may need treating.
