Sweating ! Please help?

I'm 13, and for high school i wear a short sleeve shirt, a jumper and a blazer, wen i get home @ 4pm i have big visible sweat patches underneath my arms(on my shirt) then my jumper stinks! and then after about 3 days my blazer REEKS!?

Please help can u tell me wot deoderent is the best, or what to pur on before of my deoderent (ive heard talc is good?)
Sweating ! Please help?
A prescription product by the name of DRYSOL will end your sweating problem.
Sweating ! Please help?
you should try degree deoderent
Reply:I've heard that nivea deodrant is good. The ones you see on adverts are good but a bit expensive.
Reply:Its natural for a teenager to sweat a lot. Just make sure you have a shower before you got to school each day, and use any deodorant. It is bacteria that causes the smell (i.e a dirty body) rather than the actual perspiration
Reply:It may just be your age so this might possibly be a phase otherwise try a deodrant called DRYCLOR. You can get it from the chemist you put it on at night just before bed and it blocks the sweat ducts. It really works good luck xx
Reply:talc is not the thing for your pits.mitchum is excellent.good luck.
Reply:Mitchum is a brill roll on deod. Stops everything getting out. Get it from Savers if you have one near you it's cheaper. You can see the doc and he'll do a test. I had excessive sweating and had to pee in a big bottle for 3 days and he sent it off for tests! I have an under-active thyroid gland and sweat a lot. merry crimble :)
Reply:first make sure u take a bath everyday...at ur age hormones do funny things... like sweating in ur case and never feeling cold in my brothers case... u should see a doctor first to make sure there is nothing serious...if every thing is ok... go for "fa" or "Rexona" deodorants... go for the ones with strong smell... keep it in ur locker and apply it every 3-4 hours...u can also try to buy a good perfume with a smell that lasts for 24 hours ( not the cheap type) and it can cover the smell of sweat ( with the deodorant)
Reply:Go see a Doctor- There are drugs you can get now and you can get Botox injected into your armpits that stops perspiration. If that doesn't work you could have the sweat glands surgically removed. There are lots of options
Reply:Look for a gold bond type of talc, that absorbs sweat great. DONT get the medicated smelling ones, so sniff before you buy. You need to take yr blazer off one in a while so yr body can ventilate itself.
Reply:Excessive sweating, or hyperhidrosis, could be caused by all sorts of physical/ mental states of play... In your case, I would guess that it might be directly connected with the pressures of school environment, which causes even me to feel anxious/ nervous just by remembering it!...

Have you ever tried essential oils? Cypress, lavender and patchouli all have a natural deodorising action, plus - in a case of the latter two, there's also a benefit of them acting as a major anti-stress agents, so you get a nicely deodorised bits - AND a cool, relaxed emotional state all thrown in together.

You can but essential oils in your local health-food shop, or try 'Holland and Barrett'. They are not that cheap (10 ml bottle will cost from 拢3 upwards, but perhaps you could still put them on your Christmas wish-list?...), but you only need about 4-5 drops of each - you can use a single oil, or combine them - in a bath to feel the benefits (and 15-20 minutes of soaking!).

If you don't have a bath, DILUTE a few drops of (each, or single) oil in a tablespoon of any cooking oil you might find in a kitchen cupboard, then rub it into a freshly showered, still damp skin.

After it's all nicely soaked in, try applying a natural crystal deodorant (wet it first) into critical areas - again, you'll find these in health food shops, but I think even Boots are selling them these days. They cost a little bit more then your average deodorant, but will last for ages (about a year, depending on size) - and they are Aluminum chlorohydrate, aluminum zirconium, paraben, talc (yes - talc!), triclosan, Propylene glycol....... and other carcinogens-free.

I know this is not the simplest of solutions, but the fact is that simple solutions unfortunately very rarely work.

Good luck.
Reply:My brother has the same problem.

Then he used Certain Dri. It's roll on deoderent. You put it on after you shower before you go to bed. Then in the morning you put on your deoterent that you normally use. Also, there is Arrid Dri cream that does the exact same thing as Certain Dri. You can find both at Rite Aid or Walmart very cheap. Perferably Rite Aid. Don't forget to change the deoterent you use every month. If you don't your under arms will get use to the deoterent and start working against you! Good Luck.
Reply:go to the doctor and he can give you some special deodrant its what i had to do. you just have to ask the doc!
Reply:Triple Dry anti-perspirant. It's usually on the shelves, but occasionally it's kept behind the counter %26amp; you have to ask for it.

It's a but pricy, about 拢8, but you put it on the night before, just before you go to bed every night.

Within 3 days your sweat stops completely.
Reply:someone already said drysol, and i just wanted to second her! drysol is amazing. you have to go to a dermotologist to get it, though. and when you put it on your armpits at night before you go to sleep, it tends to BURN a lot...BUT...you don't sweat at ALL after a few times of using it...so it's totally worth it.

get DRYSOL!
Reply:I had the same problem, i went to the doc. and asked and they gave me Aluminum Chloride HEXAHYDRATE and it works great! Some nights it burns when i put it on (the first night) and in the morning there is a little red mark, but other than that within a few uses, around 3 you will be cured
Reply:I've gotta second the idea of using Certi-Dry. My ex has problems with excessive sweating, and he swore that this was the only thing that stopped it. I've linked to the item in Drugstore.com; sometimes Certain-Dri is tough to find, so ask if the pharmacy keeps it behind the counter if you don't see it readily available.

If you're also sweating in other areas, talc would be good, but a visit to the dermatologist to talk about some of the other, prescription-strength, solutions might be a good idea.

Best of luck!
Reply:dove and nivea deodorants are good! and the most of the smell is caused by the bacteria. the bacteria grow in your stale sweat which is formed when you havent had a shower in the past day. even leaning over the sink and washing your underarms with soap and water and then putting on your deodorant can help!! x
Reply:Your best option is to try all the different types of deodorant out there, for example; sprays, roll on's etc

People can advise you on what to try but it doesn't mean that it will work so just go through a selection of the best brands and different types of deodorant out there and you should find something to suit you.

You should buy an anti-perspirant rather than a normal deodorant because deodorant is for smells but anti-persprirant is for sweating and smells.

Also look at other factors, are you over weight, stressed??

This could be a problem which you need to take to your doctor. Also wash twice a day, especially in the mornings so that you are fresh for the school day.

When your doing sports wear sports clothes and when you get home take off your school uniform this will prevent your clothes from smelling bad, the less you wear it the fresher it will be.
Reply:lynx is very good my brother always uses it for school and my dad also uses it a lot so i would reccomend that ....also the girls love the smell of lynx hope this helped xx
Reply:Dryclor or any other type of treatment from the chemist work really well. usually found beside the deodorants. Just apply to dry pits before bed and wash off in the morning. generally a couple of applications a week is enough to sort the problem but follow the instructions to suit you best. for the women out there i'd follow the 'don't shave advice' as it can be really itchy afterwards!!
Reply:talc will clog you up!! the best thing i have found is a roll on 'dove' deoderant. its the green sensitive one, or if you have time to wait for it to dry, use the mitchum product, but my friend was allergic, so see if you get on with it! x
Reply:make sure you put on your deodorant only whewn your underarm is dry and only use roll-on not aerosol deodorant. spread them evely and cover the whole underarm and wait till its dry before you start moving around. some good deodorants are from Sure, Lynx, Avon, Axe Ice etc.
Reply:U can try baking soda, they even have an arm and hammer deodorant that contains baking soda.
