Sweating in you car to lose weight?

I notice that when my car is hot, I can break into a really good sweat while in the car.

Is this a good way to help lose weight. I hear that it is dangerous to be in a car with the windows close in the heat.

If you do not have the car engine on and you are fully conscience and you only do it for 20-30 minutes-why would this still be harmful?

Would not it have the same effect as being in a sauna?

Thanks...

When you're in a sauna, you don't lose any fat. You sweat off a couple pounds, yes, but once you start eating and drinking, the pounds are literally put back on.

So to answer your question. No, you won't lose any weight sitting around in your car. Try running for an hour or so in the heat. At least you'll get your 'good sweat' out of it.

sweating does not make u lose weight. just makes you dehydrated and can kill you
Reply:suana isnt even burning your fats, it's just reducing the water in your body... sweating without exercising is useless
Reply:Your not losing fat when your sweating. The percieved weightloss if any well be gained back as soon as you start drinking water again. If you want to lose weight exercise. If this was a safe method believe 100's of people would certainly spending more time in their cars.
Reply:Sweating doesn't make you lose weight.
