What does sweating from feet signify?

Sweating is a means of cooling the body, and if we confine our feet to shoes and sox, it leads to maceration and the potential of having a fungal infection and foot odor. All parts of the body perspire but with the feet being covered by both cloth and leather, the moisture remains. The genital and anal areas perspire too and lead to odor as do the sweating feet. Powders are available to help the drying, but the best and most effective thing to do is remove your shoes and sox...wear sandals where you can, and dry your feet carefully.

they are hot
What does sweating from feet signify?
It signifies that you are normal.
Reply:smelly footwear
Reply:everyone sweats from their feet. it could mean your nervous. they are the same glands as the ones in your arm pits and pubic areas so when you know youre nervous and you start to sweat? it could be related in your case.
Reply:means your normal. when parts of our body get hot they sweat.

the person who said will lead to things is wrong unless you neglect your foot health.

when you bathe make sure you dry them well. let them air out if you are comfortable with that at night.

If you wear wool socks they will wick mositure away from your body.

but unless it is presenting any health problems, don't worry if it does see a doc.
Reply:It can be from a number of causes.

1)They are hot or the rest of you is hot.

2) The socks you have contain too much polyester

3) The shoes you wear don't breathe.

Does a good workout must consist of being out of breath and sweating?

Lately i have been using a 5lb hoop to hula hoop in order to lose weight and burn some fat. The thing is when i use the 5lb hoop i don't really feel tired, or get out of breath

I also have a 3lb hoop and that makes me sweat so i tend to split half hr for each hoop.

I am also cutting down on my calories intake by eating little..i would have a piece of fruit before each meal and just eat when im feeling hungry so im not really starving myself.

My main concern is that do u have to sweat and be tired to know that u are losing weight; i have read so many articles that i dont no wat is wat because if this is the case- im gona have to think of doing other activities; probably like jump roping cos i hear that is good.

Thank you in advanced!

If your heartrate is increased and you're a little out of breath and sweating, you know your workout is doing you some good!

What you need to do is up your metabolism level. To do so quite simply eat a balanced diet, drink plentiful water and eat plentiful fruit and vegetables. When an increase in metabolism occurrs keep the diet you are on at the time(you may need to go through a couple of diets to find one that suits you). Also keep a regular and frequent exersising pattern(but don't push it because your fat will just be replaced by muscle which looks exactly the same.

you don't have to sweat and feel tired to get a long term work out!

Am doing crunchess but am not sweating-how would i loose belly fat and and am not sweating from my gut?

what are pilates? and can it loose belly fat and how dod you do it?
Am doing crunchess but am not sweating-how would i loose belly fat and and am not sweating from my gut?
You'll sweat from places that you normally sweat. Stomachs are not the first place that people sweat . Muscle activity is not connected to sweat glands. Think about when you go up stairs. You sweat under your arms and on your forehead, but it has nothing to do with climing the stairs.

To *lose* (not loose) weight, you need to incorporate some sort of aerobic or cadio activity. You should be doing at least 20-30 minutes 2-4 times a week. This is on top of doing other exercises like circuit training and free weights. You CANNOT lose weight by targeting a certain place. Weigh loss comes from an overall burning of fat. Cardio/aerobic activities can include aerobics classes, step classes, running, walking, biking, the elliptical machine, etc.

Pilates is a 'workout' similar to Yoga. It works on the core muscles of the body (lower back and abs) to develop overall strength and health. There are several different types including 'ball' pilates, mat pilates, and a pilates 'board'. Most health clubs offer ball and mat Pilates classes and many many video tapes are available. They can be a fabulous way to tone up, but if one is already overweight and wants to see a more dramatic change, they will need to also incorporate aerobic activity.

Good luck to you! : )

sweat has nothing to do with fat loss. Also doing crunches does NOT target fat loss in that area, it only builds muscle.

If it is fat loss you are after, which it sounds like you are, its all about nutrition. You must eat the right amount of calories for your body and workout 3-5 days per week.

Reply:well you are not working on your bell the corrected way;try wrapping your belly with some thing that has plastic or rubber and do belly crunches.
Reply:go buy a denise Austin video.I always sweat doing her exersice's.
Reply:Belly fat is hard to lose, but is best lost with all over aerobic work outs...running, swimming, biking, etc.
Reply:In order to lose belly fat and strengthen the abdominal muscles, you have to do cardiovascular exercise in addition to crunches (or other ab strengthening exercises). Try walking, jogging, or an aerobic routine for 30 minutes a day, 3 days a week. Also create a healthy diet program by looking at the U.S. food pyramid website.
Reply:play soccer well be cool and all your weight problems will be solved : )

sweat is the result of your body getting overheated

you lose fat when your body burns it doing excercise or sleeping general stuff during your day if you eat healthy it will also drop

hope that helps
Reply:Many people have said that doing crunches will not burn fat, it will only build muscle. This is not true. Imagine your stomache muscle when you are doing crunches, and the fat around it. When you are doing crunches, the muscle has to have fuel. The fuel for these muscles? the fat around the muscle. When you do crunches, your muscles are burning the fat. When it loses fat to burn, it builds muscle (seeing that you are eating enough calories and a healthy diet) If you do not get enough calories adn the muscle does not have any fat to burn, it will "eat itself" for energy.....

You do not have to sweat to burn fat...seeing that the muscle is burning fat inside yourself...

pilates is a type of exercise regimen that utilizes the heart, without say, going on a run. Most pilates ruitines you are on the ground, doing a type of slow movements that target specific areas. (http://www.winsorpilates.com)

I think if you really want to lose belly fat (this works for me)..Dont eat too many sweats or fatty foods (these will just build up and take longer to burn off if eaten in excess) , do cardio to burn extra fat, and do a few sets of crunches every night. You will burn alot of fat, and build up the muscle (which in turn will burn extra calories when not even being worked)

good luck
Reply:You can't target fat loss by working out certain muscle groups. Fat is burned off by aerobic excercise and lots of it. There is no quick fix. If you are committed to losing your gut you must put in the hard work. The fat is lost all over at the same time. Men accumulate fat most noticeably around their midsection, women around the hips, buttocks, thighs and waist. Unfortunately the last thing to go will be your belly fat, but the good news is that you can eventually lose it. Good nutrition is equally important to lots of excercise. Try some low impact excercise to start like walking %26amp; biking, (stationary excercise bike is good too), then up to running and swimming. You can try pilates but it's a lot harder than it looks plus it targets muscle groups that most guys seldom work out. The girls are much tougher than you think!
Reply:Unfortunately you can not target a specific area to loose fat. The only way to do it is through lots and lots of cardio. There are many theories out there but I can tell you from my experience (my whole family is very over weight, a couple even classed as morbidly obeesed) I grew up heavy, and when I decided to change my life had to work way harder then the books tell you to. I had to work out 5-6 days per week, 60-90 minutes of cardio per session + 2-3 days of strength training. Once I reached my desired weight I HAVE to workout 4-5 days per week at 60 minutes of cardio per session. I did it, and I know you can to, good luck to you !!!!
Reply:If you have stubborn belly fat, the only way you can reduce your fat is by doing aerobic exercises. During activities like swimming, rowing and walking, enough oxygen is supplied to the body to burn fat. The healthiest way to prevent a fat stomach is by ensuring that your weight is normal for your height.More information available at http://www.toloseweight.org/losestomachf...

How do you get an arm pit to stop sweating?

OK, here's the deal, it's only ONE of the arm pits that sweats. Going crazy tring to figure that one out. I raise my arms, one pit is as dry as the Sahara, and the other seems to be making up for that. HELP!!!!
How do you get an arm pit to stop sweating?
u probably have hyperhydrosis...a condition where there is excessive sweat production. There are liquid preparations containing aluminium chloride from the pharmacy such as Driclor. Apply it on your armpits at night...and u will find that your sweat production is reduced the following day. Hope this helps!
How do you get an arm pit to stop sweating?
Use a certain kind of deoderant for that arm
Reply:go to the dr. and have it checked.
Reply:Two possibilities:

Find a better anti-perspirant or, if it is really THAT bad, it could be hyperhydrosis, a medical condition for which you have to see a doctor who will suggest an appropriate treatment according to your age, physical condition, and severity of the problem.
Reply:use an anti perspirant

%26amp; maybe deoderant wouldnt hurt either
Reply:Get your sweat glands removed
Reply:Use a stronger deo.
Reply:Its called Certain Dri antispersirant. In a box kinda green shaded on front.

Symptoms-dizziness,sweating,vo... shoot,.they say it is vertigo but i doubtit.....please help?

Yes, sounds like everything that I go through with the Meneries Disease....a form of vertigo.

Have they given you some Meclizine (Dramamine II) to help settle it down?

When balance is impaired, an individual has difficulty maintaining orientation. For example, an individual may experience the "room spinning" and may not be able to walk without staggering, or may not even be able to arise. Some of the symptoms a person with a balance disorder may experience are:

*A sensation of dizziness or vertigo (spinning).

*Falling or a feeling of falling.

*Lightheadedness or feeling woozy.

*Visual blurring.

*Disorientation.

Some individuals may also experience nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, faintness, changes in heart rate and blood pressure, fear, anxiety, or panic. Some reactions to the symptoms are fatigue, depression, and decreased concentration. The symptoms may appear and disappear over short time periods or may last for a longer period of time.

You could be having panic attacks?

Also, do you get it when changing positions, or does any certain action trigger the symptoms?

I'm medically intuitive and I tend to agree with the vertigo diagnosis. Do you also feel sick to your stomach?
Reply:Vertigo is just another symptom. It's not a diagnosis.
